VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging youth, families and educators through street information stands and community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by drug facts campaign public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
